Orchid Books

The following compilation of orchid-related books was prepared as an accompaniment to Go Orchids and the companion field guide that is currently being drafted. The idea behind the compilation is that more than one guide may be needed to identify orchids and books and guides provide information beyond what we have compiled in Go Orchids as well as the information that will be provided in the companion field guide once it is published. We have organized the books and field guides into three groups (U.S. and Canada, Regions, States and Provinces) to support efforts to identify field-guides that could be used to further your efforts to located and identify native orchids. Within the first two groups, we have divided the books into those that have keys and those that do not have keys. The States and Provinces groups have been divided into U.S. and Canada. A big thanks to Mary Ann Christenson who compiled and organized the information.
